WHO WE ARE

YMOnline is an online store. It is a virtual shopping experience, where anybody ( essentially Batswana ), anywhere in the country can purchase a variety of products. Its is the first of its kind in Botswana, and comes available with a country-wide delivery service.

HOW IT ALL BEGAN!

YMOnline was created during the first lockdown in 2020, primarily prompted by the Covid19 pandemic, and more directly by the many essential businesses that it had forced to unceremoniously shut down.

It all began when our Co-Founder Mark, found himself like most, forced to quarantine away from home with no where near enough basic essentials, and no easy way to move around. While pacing back and forth for solutions, in a quaint lodge in Maun, the idea of taking essential shops and services online and making a virtual one-stop shop , offering a delivery service to match was birthed. And so it began!

FROM WHENCE WE CAME

Initially conceptualized and developed around a small group of businesses around Maun and northern Botswana, the demand for our service quickly saw us expanding to the south and has brought us to where we are now servicing Batswana nationwide, another step closer to our vision of becoming the largest e-commerce platform in Southern Africa.
